Competition Team Choreographer

Jacqueline began dancing at the age of two and grew up training and competing at her aunt’s studio in West Springfield, MA. Throughout her childhood and teen years, she studied a wide variety of styles including acrobatics, ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, modern, and tap. Her love of teaching emerged early—first as a classroom assistant, and by sixteen, she was leading her own classes and choreographing recital routines. She later expanded into competitive choreography and has taught dancers of all ages, from “Mommy and Me” to adults.

Dedicated to continued growth as an educator, Jacqueline holds certifications in Acrobatic Arts and Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT). She spent six years as the owner and director of her own dance studio, where she also served as the competitive team’s director and primary choreographer.

Beyond the classroom, Jacqueline brings extensive experience from the dance competition industry, having worked in roles ranging from merchandise sales and backstage management to adjudication awards judging. These opportunities have given her a well-rounded understanding of the discipline, creativity, and community that dance inspires.

Jacqueline is also a Registered Nurse, graduating from Berkshire Community College in 2022 as a member of both the BCC Honors Program and the National Honor Society. Although health challenges led her to transition away from studio ownership, she is grateful to continue sharing her passion for dance. She is thrilled to be joining the Studio North Dance Arts faculty for her first season and can’t wait to inspire dancers to grow both technically and artistically.
