Ayla began dancing at just two years old and has been passionate about it ever since—now entering her 24th year of dance. She began her training at Berkshire Dance Theatre and later continued at Studio North Dance Arts. Over the years, she has studied a wide range of styles, including hip hop, ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, acro, modern, contemporary, and musical theater.

Her teaching journey began early as well: she served as a Teaching Assistant for nine years, advanced to Junior Teacher during her senior year of high school; has been a faculty member at Studio North for the past nine years.

Currently, Ayla proudly serves as an Assistant Director of the SNDA Competition Team, and has been a Team choreographer for five years. Her connection to the Team runs deep, as she was also a charter member during her junior and senior years of high school.

Outside of the studio, Ayla is the Rink Manager and skating coach at the Town of Hoosick skating rink during the winter months. She is also pursuing her master’s degree in middle and high school education at the University at Albany. In addition to her work at Studio North, she has been part of the Hoosick Falls Central School community for the past six years.
