Kimberly Ciola

Faculty - Ballet, Modern

Kimberly Ciola has been working with dance companies and non-profit organizations for over twenty years in such roles as Faculty, Program Designer, Assistant Director, and Executive Director. She was the Executive Director of Berkshire Dance Theatre in Berkshire County, Massachusetts and Bennington, Vermont.

 

Kimberly earned her BA in dance from Dean School of Dance in Franklin, MA and has studied with such master teachers as Joan Phelps Palladino, Earl Moseley, and various members of Diversity of Dance, Ron K. Brown/Evidence, Urban Bush Women, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. She has performed in productions across New England, sharing the stage with Savion Glover, Trey McIntyre Project, Eartha Kitt and Dave Brubeck.

 

Kimberly was the Assistant Dance Director of The Bedford Youth Performing Company in Bedford, New Hampshire. She has worked in the Education Department at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival for the 2006 festival season, and continues to remain an active volunteer within the organization. Kimberly was a competition judge with Step Up 2 Dance, and also teaches master classes in Limon and Horton Technique throughout New England.

 

Kimberly volunteers with the non-profit organization "Haiti Plunge" and travels to Haiti to teach

dance and art to children. This is Kimberly's twelfth season on faculty at Studio North.
